Welcome to Bourn
Church of England Primary Academy
I hope that this site provides you with some idea of life here at Bourn Primary. By clicking on the scrolling photographs above or going to the Events page, you can find out what is happening week by week throughout the School, and the Latest News section is where you will find news and reviews. You can also learn about our school’s Ethos and Values and see the latest Reports, including Ofsted.
All of our pupils are offered a wide range of activities as part of the school day within the Curriculum. The Early Years Foundation Stage is a very important phase within the school and we aim to provide children with the best possible start to their education. The many visitors to the School each term, and the children’s own educational visits, both provide opportunities to extend learning, as do the residential visits which are undertaken in Years 4 and 6. More about this can be found in the Community section.
The Bourn School Association plays a very important role in the life of the School, as indeed do all of our parents, as partners in the education process. We also have very strong links with our local church and Rev. Stephen visits weekly to lead collective worship.
We have high expectations of our pupils and are very proud of their achievements.
Enjoy browsing our website and we look forward to welcoming you to Bourn Primary Academy. If you are interested in applying for a place for your child, please look at our application information page.
