Events over the Summer

Here are some local events that you might find interesting to take part in with your children over the long summer holidays. They are neither run nor endorsed by the school and the school has no direct link to them, so please use your own judgement on how best to get involved.

Animation Workshop and Recycling Story Competition – Years 3, 4 and 5

Get your children to use their imagination to create a story of how everyday recycling is transformed into something new. The more fabulous the better! Run by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Recycles with more information here.

There is also a FREE animation workshop in Cambourne Library on Tuesday 30th July 2pm-3.15pm run by professional animators Breadcrumb Media. Learn how animated films are made and create your own short animation using the Stikbot app. Places are limited so book at the library or email your.library@cambridgeshire.gov.uk. For more information email wmt@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
