Bourn is a school filled with hope. We steadfastly believe each individual is capable of great things. We work together in friendship, challenging ourselves and each other to be the best we can be. We aim for ‘life in all its fullness’; striving to make the world a better place.
Our vision intrinsically links to the Christian values of hope, courage, justice, forgiveness and friendship, which run through everything we do at our school.
Bourn Primary is a happy, welcoming and caring Church of England school where we value each individual for who they are. To find out more about our school, see our Introduction to Bourn Primary. By going to the Events page, you can find out what is happening week by week throughout the school, and the Latest News section is where you will find news and reviews. You can also learn about our school’s Values and Vision and see the latest Reports, including Ofsted.
All of our pupils are offered a wide range of activities as part of the school day within the Curriculum. The Early Years Foundation Stage is a very important phase within the school and we aim to provide children with the best possible start to their education. The Community part of the website gives some insight into the visitors to the School each term, and the children’s own educational visits which extend their learning.
Children are at the heart of everything we do at Bourn Primary. We work in partnership with parents/carers to ensure that we provide the best education we possibly can, with the members of the Bourn School Association that fundraises for the school and with the local church, where Rev. Stephen visits weekly to lead collective worship.
If you have a concern relating to your child, please do speak to the class teacher at the earliest opportunity and they will be happy to meet with you. You can arrange this with the teacher at the end of the day, or via email by contacting email@example.com. We also welcome feedback and ideas so do get in touch!
Enjoy browsing our website and we look forward to welcoming you to Bourn Primary Academy. If you are interested in applying for a place for your child, please look at our application information page.
