Welcome from the Acorn Class Teaching Team
My name is Mrs Tagger and I will be your teacher in Acorn Class when you begin your learning journey with us at Bourn Primary School. I will be teaching you every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am excited to see you soon!
One of my favourite things to do in Reception is to make up stories and bring them to life by acting them out as part of a team. I can’t wait to hear your wonderful stories!
When I am not teaching in school, I spend my time at home looking after my 3 children: Sam, Daisy and Bee. Together we enjoy spending time outside, especially in the forest, finding unusual sticks to use in our imaginary play. We also love to dance and be silly! I love to run, swim and ride my bike but most of all I love to crochet.
I will look forward to seeing you soon. Maybe you could think of a question to ask me or tell me something about yourself.
I am Mrs McInerney and I am really looking forward to seeing you in September. I will be teaching you every Thursday and Friday.
Some of my favourite things to do in school are singing and dancing with everyone in the class. I love the song; Five Little Monkeys. Do you know it? I also enjoy making colourful (and sometimes sparkly) play dough! I’m sure you’d like to make some with me.
When I am not at school, I am at home playing with my two children. My son Evan is 6 years old and my daughter Grace is 3. We spend a lot of time out on our bikes and we enjoy baking together. Our favourite food to make is ham and pineapple pizzas….yum!
I am looking forward to finding out all about you. We are going to have so much fun in Acorn Class!
My name is Miss Simmons and I am a full time Teaching Assistant in Acorn Class.
I am really looking forward to meeting you soon!
One of my favourite things to do in Acorn Class is to play in the outdoor areas, especially making bug hotels in the green grass areas and dens in the nature reserve. I am excited for you to show off your den making skills!
When I am not in School, I enjoy playing tennis, reading and trying out new arts and crafts. I also like to watch the Great British Bake Off and love sharing my baking skills with the children at school.
I am looking forward to finding out what your interests are and for us all to share our favourite reading books when you start school.
See you soon!
